The new £19 million Ocean Terminal is currently under construction and it will be named in honour of the city’s famous 1950s art-deco building which was the home berth for many legendary liners. It will be built opposite the site of the original building, which was demolished in 1983. The replacement terminal will included a baggage hall the size of 14 tennis courts and building as a whole is big enough hold 437 double-decker buses stacked on top of each other.
