Natalie Quinn, Calvin Neil Hylton, Briony Marie Dyce, and Camille Danielle Dupee all pleaded guilty to attempting to smuggle drugs on the P&O cruise ship Arcadia.
They were found with 20 kilos of drugs taped to their bodies, when arrested by officers from HM Revenue & Customs in Southampton back in October.
Its the biggest seizure of cocaine on board a cruise ship in the UK.
The ship had returned from a 23 day cruise around the Caribbean Islands.
Peter Avery, HMRC assistant director criminal investigation, said “The skills of our HMRC investigators and UKBA officers have kept £1.7 million of devastating drugs from our streets.
“Those guilty of smuggling this deadly cargo will be sentenced in January. Our investigators will continue to pursue those who mastermind and finance this kind of illegal trade.”
