Mexican port calls resume

The British government has declared that people should feel free to travel to Mexico as concerns about swine flu reduce. One reason for increased confidence is that the British government has now ensured 90 million doses of vaccine against swine flu will be stored in the UK. While the number of confirmed cases in the UK has risen to 85, the Foreign Office has said that non-essential travel (ie holiday trips) to the Latin American region are now perfectly sensible.

Carnival Cruises has already said that it is going to resume port calls to Mexico in June with Carnival Holiday calling at Cozumel on a cruise that departs the USA on 28 May.
