Fred Olsen's most recent acquisition is the cruise liner Balmoral and since the first of May she’s been sailing out of Civitavecchia which is the port for Rome.
The 1,340 ship is making five cruises in the Mediterranean and Adriatic before returning to her usual port of Dover for the remainder of the year. Flights from the UK to connect with the cruises can be taken from Bristol, Gatwick, Manchester and Stansted.
There’s still one last cruise in the programme – Balmoral will depart from Venice on 11th June and spend eleven nights travelling through the region, calling at Dubrovnik, Sicily, Sardinia, Gibraltar, Lisbon before ending up back home in Dover.
