Cruise to Run - Barbados

Once known as the Run In The Sun Cruise, this cruise with a difference takes place aboard the Crown Princess – who will carry around 150 fun runners to Barbados, among other places, where they will run a lovely 5 kilometre course along the Spring Garden Highway.

The cruise arrives in Barbados on 14 January and continues from there to St Lucia, Antigua, Tortola and St Thomas for similar running events. If this appeals to you, particularly if your other half is always saying that your running means he or she never gets to have any fun, Caribbean Princess has already been booked for a similar cruise in 2009 and tickets go on sale on January 20th. First stop on the 2009 cruise will again be Barbados for a fun run on Tuesday, February 3rd. The Barbados Tourism Authority, which helps organise side trips and events for those who accompany the runners, says the Cruise To Run is a great event and looks forward to working with next years travellers too.
