Your cruise ship is the twelve passenger Savoir Faire, which was formerly known as ‘Etoile de Champagne’. She was built in 1932 as a Belgian transport barge and converted into a hotel barge in 1979. In 2005 she was she was substantially refurbished so her six staterooms now offer luxurious accommodation for her passengers who are looked after by six English-speaking crew. Sailing on Savoir Faire is an exercise in memory - the salon, dining area, and bar are finished in mahogany, teak and brass, and decorated with antiques and paintings in keeping with its elegant history while two decks offer magnificent views of the countryside. Regional dishes are prepared on board by a master chef and complemented by a wide array of fine regional wines to put the seal on your river cruise.
