Restaurant on on Cunards newest ship

Celebrity chef Todd English has a restaurant on on Cunard's newest ship, the Queen Victoria and he was on board to greet visitors when the vessel was in New York City on 13th January.

He says he strives to make dining at his restaurants at sea ‘an experience like walking down the streets of Manhattan and you happen across a restaurant’. This means his on-boardeateries offer everything from tapas at the bar and other light fare through to five-course meals and seafood offerings vary (in part depending on the ship’s itinerary) and what's available in port - for example Dover Sole in England, snapper and grouper in Florida. The Queen Victoria ship n New York for a historic rendezvous with Cunard's other Queen ships: Queen Elizabeth 2 and Queen Mary 2.

Thousands of New Yorkers stood along the waterfront of Lower Manhattan to watch the three grand ships line up in front of the Statue of Liberty amid a specially designed firework display.
