Avalon Expands

Avalon Waterways, the Australian holiday company, has an expanded ‘Exclusive Collection’ of 2009 European holidays, Following the success of its first Exclusive Collection, five different river cruises have been added to the 2009 program from Europe’s most scenic rivers and historic cities.

Travellers who pre-register now for 2009 will get first choice on their preferred cruises, cabins and dates when the Exclusive Collection is released in April, plus they’ll qualify for generous early booking discounts and the big savings on pre/post-cruise touring.

The Avalon Waterways Collection is aimed at Australian and New Zealand travellers: all gratuities are pre-paid to take the confusion out of tipping, and any cruise can be purchased with land-based tours from the wider Globus collection. The 2008 collection offers sailings on the two week Magnificent Europe cruise on the Rhine and Danube between Amsterdam and Budapest, visiting the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. For 2009, this itinerary will expand to include the Rhine, the Moselle, the Danube and the Rhone.
