Princess Cruises is promising male passengers a good time with new walking tours with a "madam" in Skagway, Alaska. The Goodtime Girls tour takes you back to Gold Rush days, when 49-ers stopped off in town to get lucky with the ladies.
The "madams", dressed in lavish costumes, will take you through the streets and alleys and end up in the Red Onion Saloon, a former brothel, now a pub/restaurant and museum. The tour is one of several new Princess excursions on sale in Alaska this summer. Others include a crab fishing day in the Bering Sea, glass blowing in Skagway and a five-course dining day in a private club in Ketchikan, where gourmets can munch their way through a meal of locally-caught seafood.
