P&O Cruises late deal

Travelling on the Oceana, departing from Southampton on 19 July 2008 for seven nights and visiting four ports in four different countries:

1. Vigo is one of Spain’s premier fishing ports, famous for seafood as well as being the place where Columbus first set foot again in the Old World after he returned from his first voyage to the New World.

2. Lisbon is a beautiful port, as well as a capital city, and the joys available in this city include rides in wooden-runnered sledges down cobbled streets (bumpy but fun) or for the less adventurous, a stroll along Avenida da Liberdade, which is the widest street on earth.

3. In France, La Rochelle has a superb medieval fortress to visit, while the town itself is a bustling resort with excellent shops, restaurants and other resort facilities – excursions to nearby Cognac for tastings are possible from La Rochelle. ,/p>

4. St. Peter Port in Guernsey offers a glorious harbour, and a French ambience on an island that speaks English!
