Norwegian Jade upgrade review

Norwegian Cruise Line has brought Norwegian Jade to Southampton and British passengers will therefore be amongst the first to discover what the line’s Freestyle 2.0 enhancements actually mean in practice.

The ship arrives at the end of this month and will make her first sailing from the UK in May. What can cruise passengers expect to find:

1. Freestyle dining now includes free champagne on arrival, new menus, lobster dishes in the main restaurant twice during every cruise and chocolate fountains at the action station restaurants.

2. Staterooms have an expanded room service menu, memory-foam mattress pads (so those with bad backs etc can sleep easily) and an expanded mini-bar Ship-board fun has been enhanced to include new classes, the library now incorporates a coffee shop, there are new party nights and an improved pool deck experience with drink flags on deckchairs and a balance between quiet times at the pool and upbeat sports periods to suit all tastes and there are longer Kids Club hours too.
