Olympic Cruise offer

The origins of the modern international games can be explored by cruise ship, if you take one of MSC Cruises’ new Mediterranean cruise holidays on MSC Poesia, MSC’s latest vessel. The liner will be visiting Katakolon in Greece which is the gateway to Olympia, the site of the very first games. Visistors can see the original Olympic stadium, which held 45,000 spectators, and even tour the ancient changing rooms before stopping at the Sanctuary of Olympia, which is where the flame for modern day games is lit. The cruise also visits Istanbul (Turkey) and Dubrovnik (Croatia) before returning to its point of departure: Venice (Italy). The seven night runs weekly until November. Poesia has four restaurants: Le Fontane, ll Palladio, La Cafeteria Villa Pompeiana and L’Obelisco, ten bars including two open air ones and two pool areas.
