Cruise Destination - Vietnam

There’s a new hot destination for cruise travellers, and between 10 and 17 March, no fewer than five international cruise ships will visit. Costa Allegra visits Sai Gon port, famous for a floating market and with a complement of over one thousand holidaymakers, while SuperStar Libra brings a further 1200 passengers to Ha Long Bay in the north coastal region of Quang Ninh which is a beautifully unspoilt and rural area of Asia. And even Saga are moving into this long sealed territory, when Saga Rose arrives on 11 March for a two day visit that will include excursions to Ho Chi Minh City. Then the Europa and the Columbus will both visit, bringing their complement of cruise passengers: primarily German and Austrian tourists, to visit both Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City. Many of these cruise passengers will take the opportunity to enhance their visit by taking flights to Phnom Penh or even investing in a river cruise to the same destination.
