Oasis of the Seas sneak preview

Each new cruise ship that launches seems to offer ever more dazzling new facilities. Oasis of the seas, due to be launched in 2009 and currently under construction at a Finnish shipyard, takes this trend to the limit. The first thing to note is that she has a lift with a bar in it! The Rising Tide bar will transport guests through three decks while they sup a pint or sip champagne. She also has something called AquaTheatre which will host specially lit evening shows including acrobatics, synchronised swimming, water ballet, and professional high-diving and for the daylight hours will serve as a gigantic swimming pool. There will be a forest, a giant casino and some really unusual cabin features including elegant two-story loft style apartments. Brits will get the chance to see Oasis of the Seas for themselves in November 2009 when she visits Southampton.
