P&O rethink brochure

Customer and agent research has prompted P&O Cruises to completely redesign its 2009 brochure so that it offers a destination-led approach, rather than featuring holidays based on each ship in the fleet. New ports of call include Antwerp in Belgium, the island of Hvar in Croatia and La Spezia in Italy. P&O Cruises’ managing director, Nigel Esdale, said, ‘Overall we have injected more energy and dynamism into the brochure. It is now easier to navigate with itineraries grouped by region, colour coded sections and cross-referencing to the website for additional information.’ He adds, ‘Cruise holidays paid for in sterling have always offered excellent value for money but, this year particularly, with the current exchange rate, cruises are now one of the most cost effective ways to visit Europe.’
