P&O Cruises Azura cruise offer

There’s a wonderful cruise deal on offer for people who want to take a cruise on a brand new cruise ship. P&O’s Azura will be sister ship to the 116,000-ton Ventura and once she joins the fleet, she and her sister, who set sail in 2008, will be the two largest ships ever built for P&O. There’s a seven night cruise around the Mediterranean, sailing from Southampton, for just £655 if you make your booking before 31st October, that’s a saving of nearly a third on the brochure price.

Azura promises to be a glorious cruise experience, rising to almost 195ft above the sea, and longer than two football pitches, she’ll be able to accommodate up to 3,100 passengers and 1,200 crew members, with those passenger being accommodated in a range of different staterooms 1,557 in total, of which more than 900 have private balconies and a whole series of staterooms on deck 6 that are purpose-designed for the solo traveller.

There will also be 12 bars and 11 restaurants including Michelin Star winner 'Sindhu' and a wide selection of bars plus an open-air cinema and a spa with terrace. Add to that the two-tier West End-style theatre, three dance-floors, four pools, an outdoor cinema screen, an art gallery, casino, library, hi-tech gym and extensive spa together with a fully equipped medical centre and you’ve definitely got cruise luxury. She’ll set sail in spring 2010.
