Beatles theme cruise

Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas offers a six night Beatles themed cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale on 28th March 2010. The ship will sail to Belize City, Belize; Costa Maya, Mexico; and Cozumel, Mexico, before returning to Fort Lauderdale. And on board there will be a constellation of Beatles’ tribute bands and other Beatles themed support acts such as: BritBeat, May Pang and Shannon. Beatles aren’t the only attraction of course. Independence of the Seas also a three-story Alhambra theatre, a rock-climbing wall, a mini golf course, and a superb shopping arcade as well as fine dining. And there’s lots of other daytime entertainment from bingo, art auctions, films, trivia contests, arts and crafts to wine tastings, dance classes and, of course, karaoke. The Casino Royale features some 300 slot and the skating shows are held several times during each cruise. Beatles on Ice anyone?

And Independence of the Seas has one of the best fitness facilities at sea. There are circuit-training machines weight-lifting and a group of cycles for spinning as well as a range of classes such as yoga, aerobics, Pilates, group cycling and water aerobics. Other, less standard options include combat in motion, a workout that combines Eastern martial arts with Western aerobic activity.
