Carnival Dream heads for the USA

Carnival Cruise Lines will be taking its newest and largest ship – Carnival Dream – to the Caribbean soon, for the autumn and winter season. 3,646 passenger cruise liner is currently finishing up her summer season in Europe. She has some of the biggest family features currently on offer, such as the vast WaterWorks aqua park, very elaborate children’s facilities and family cabins featuring two bathrooms – putting an end to the constant battles when getting ready to go onto the public decks for the evening. There’s also first laser light show at sea which is part of the Seaside Theater offering – it’s a show that projects laser patterns onto the night sky to the accompaniment of rock music from bands like Pink Floyd, while the big screen shows the accompanying music videos. But it’s not just for kids. The Serenity area is an adults only tranquil space, on two levels, that can hold up to two hundred people and contains a variety of chill-out experiences including hammocks. Food is a big feature too - Carnival Dream's Lido buffet has a salad bar, and hot and cold buffets, but there’s also a delicatessen a burrito bar, an Indian tandoori oven and a grill for burgers and hot dogs as well as a 24-hour pizzeria.

She’s sailing to Florida via New York and will be home porting at Port Canaveral where she will offer seven day cruise to both the eastern and western Caribbean through the winter months.
