Book all in one – a package trip will usually work out much cheaper than organising accommodation and travel at either end of the trip yourself. And if your pre and post cruise travel is part of the package, as is offered by many cruise lines these days, you’ll be covered by the ATOL scheme so that if something goes wrong, you’ll be refunded and if you happened to be overseas, you’d be instantly repatriated.
