Cruise holidays offer great value for money – because the cruise price includes almost everything (food, accommodation, entertainment and travel) you can easily budget for your entire holiday without fearing the cost of extras: on some cruise lines, at some periods, there are fantastic offers that reduce the cost even further, such children sailing free when sharing a cabin with two adults, or even free extra cabins for group bookings.

Simple, pain-free travel – there’s always a downside to travel, which includes the packing and unpacking, jet lag, inoculations and so on. But on a cruise ship, just about all of that is taken care of for you and you can just relax, knowing that the journey is part of the fun.

Cruise ships appeal to all ages – it’s quite difficult to find a resort that markets itself to all ages: the hectic activity-based holiday that kids want doesn’t appeal to their laid-back clubbing older siblings, and the music and beach scene doesn’t necessarily ring bells with their culture-interested parents.
