Celebrity Cruises special offers

Celebrity Cruises has a special offer for people making bookings on certain selected sailings – a free upgrade from ocean-view cabins to balcony cabins on reservations placed before the end of February 2010.

The offer coincides with the Wave period, which is traditionally the busiest time for cruise bookings and is available up until February 28th 2010. There are also some impressive discounts available, such as £400 discount per cabin and up to $200 per stateroom on-board credit (the ship sails in dollars rather than sterling on-board currency) on certain cruises. Celebrity’s newest ship Celebrity Eclipse will be home-porting in Southampton when it launches in April 2010 so this is all part of a strategy to woo the British cruise market. Celebrity Cruises associate vice-president UK and Ireland Jo Rzymowska said 2009 had been a good year for the cruise line and 2010 promised to be equally exciting because, ‘The Solstice-class ships have received positive feedback from all our guests and trade partners. So much so, that our bookings for 2010 on Celebrity Eclipse are extremely strong.’
