Norwegian Cruise line Nickelodeon partnership

Selected NCL ships will be featuring Nickelodeon-themed family entertainment all year round from April 2010.

Starting with Norwegian Jewel when she sails from New York in late April, and moving onto include Norwegian Epic – the biggest NCL ship to date - when she launches in July 2010, the partnership will bring Nickelodeon characters to meet and greets. Their cruises will also feature live Nickelodeon-themed interactive shows, including SlimeTime LIVE! with Nick’s signature slime and Nick Live! Poolside entertainment as well as character breakfasts and themed dance parties as well as many more Nickelodeon-themed elements being added to the Norwegian’s Kids’ Crew program.

It’s a three-year partnership that will also feature special Nickelodeon-themed cruises annually, with Nickelodeon TV stars, show premieres and themed entertainment throughout the voyage and all across the ship. An NCL spokesman said, ‘Combining [Nickelodoen’s] worldwide appeal with our signature Freestyle Cruising will create the ultimate experience at sea for families. For any family considering a cruise vacation, there is no better value and experience than Nickelodeon at Sea on Norwegian Cruise Line.’

And in addition this standard offer on Norwegian Jewel and Norwegian Epic, special Nickelodeon-themed cruises will be offered annually and they will be a total immersion Nick experience, with special appearances by the Network’s live talent, some show premieres, many more game shows and chances to meet favourite Nick characters. The initial Nickelodeon-themed cruises will take place on Norwegian Jewel later this year but details and a sale date have not yet been confirmed.
