Crystal Symphony to Bahamas

One of the most legendary and highly regarded ships afloat, Crystal Symphony is still right at the top of the cruise industry more than twenty years after her debut. And little wonder, either.

From her top end penthouse suites with their private terraces to the shimmering, two storey Crystal Lobby, the ship oozes finely crafted sophistication and style. Stir in a crew that regards hospitality as its main mission, and you have a ship that still continues to enchant passengers.

There are enrichment lectures right throughout the cruise that feed the mind as well as the inner man, and the clubby, intimate Avenue Saloon, where the piano player keeps going for as long as the passengers stay awake. In Crystal Cove, passengers watch a waterfall tumbling gently from the level above, as they sip martinis at a circular bar, all the while serenaded by live piano music. Wherever or whenever, this is a ship that does everything with taste.

Acres of pristine, open deck space are sprinkled with lounge pods and sun beds. There is a large pool and a huge, rectangular hot tub. Further aft, an all day lunch and dinner area is surrounded by lounging chairs and sofas, and covered with a sliding glass roof.

Crystal Symphony has all outside cabins, and most of those have private balconies. The penthouse accommodations are on a special, private deck, and come complete with Jacuzzi bath tubs and private terraces.

The food is sublime, whether in the main dining room, the Trident Grill, or any of the no extra charge speciality restaurants on board. There is even a free ice cream parlour that offers up Ben and Jerry's on demand, and a chi-chi little bistro above Crystal Cove that looks as if it was lifted intact from a Parisian boulevard.

If you possess a sense of fun and an appreciation of the finer things in life, from Egyptian cotton sheets on the bed to expertly crafted martinis, then Crystal Symphony may very well be the ship for you. She has a style and a unique ambiance that draws back passengers time and time again.
